Lorton Lettings Flat 1 Positive: Excellent central location in Cockermouth. Lovely clean self contained room. Negative: Road noise as it's right next to a busy main road in the town however this is reflected in the fair price and didn't really give us any issues. Great little apartment for a short stay if you want easy access to the town's facilities.

Great Value, Great Location and very clean - would recommend ! Positive: Very clear instructions of how to gain entry to the property without having to hand over keys. Great system. Excellent location and there was everything you needed in their. It was dog friendly as we had our dog with us but there were no traces or smells of previous dogs being there. Would highly recommend. Negative: Only one negative thing was it was so cold and we could not get the heating to work properly but we spoke to the hosts a couple of times who explained what we needed to do. It was a particularly cold night when we stayed so it did take a while to get the place warmed up.

Good value. Suitable for short stopover. Location is ideal for a night or two in/around Cockermouth Positive: Central location - handy for shops and amenities. Generally well equipped studio. Negative: Bathroom too small. Shower leaks and design seems to add to the water outside of the shower unit once used. On a junction so some noise from idling traffic etc. Noise from the room above - snoring, coughing etc. can be heard when no TV or radio on. No salt to be found.

Fantastic Stay Positive: Wow this property is fantastic. Big comfy bed. Handy for the shops. Right next to the car park. Host was available to answer my questions. Will definitely be staying again. Bathroom and shower were lovely. Easy door lock to get in. Negative: Nothing.

Great well equiped studio, in the centre of Cockermouth Positive: Very well equiped and perfect for my short overnight stay for a business meeting. I arrived late and it was easy to get in and cook myself a quick dinner. Comfy bed and good nights sleep before work the next morning. Thank you!
